# Embed a free audio-reactive visualizer — PHASE//VOID

Canonical page: [PHASE//VOID embed builder](https://phasevoid.com/embed/). This is a readable version of the on-page setup guide. PHASE//VOID is a free browser visual instrument by [Balance IT](https://balanceit.pl); the public tools require no account.

Use the builder to choose a real visual world, select a 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 frame, preview the player and copy a responsive iframe. The iframe can sit in an artist page, event announcement or other HTML page that allows embeds. Visitors choose when to start the built-in sound or open an MP3/WAV from their own device. Audio never starts merely because the host page loads.

## Configure and copy

1. Open [the interactive embed builder](https://phasevoid.com/embed/#configure).
2. Choose a scene. The same 108 worlds appear in the [public scene catalog](https://phasevoid.com/scenes/): Event horizon, Warp drive, Rave laser, Prism ritual, Chrome tide, Signal rupture, Ion storm, Magnetic terrain, Solar flare, Liquid mandala, Monolith, Interference, Ferro bloom, Wire loom, Helix run, Acid ink, Photon lattice, Kinetic blades, Plasma weave, Orbital glass, Void tendrils, Rave fan, Moiré engine, Fractal forge, Chrome knot, Vortex sheet, Laser switchyard, Spectral organ, Op art axis, Neural web, Diffraction sea, Shutter drive, Sonic crystals, Circuit run, Alien membrane, Ribbon detonation, Chrome cocoon, Mercury morph, Turbine bloom, Skeletal wave, Alloy eclipse, Molten lace, Nanofiber storm, Liquid spire, Mirror petals, Tessellated skin, Ribbed vortex, Chitin signal, Origami pulse, Liquid checkers, Prismatic fault, Halftone flow, Tear tunnel, Strata slip, Cellular silk, Lenticular iris, Mirror mosaic, Isometric weave, Magnetic contour, Phase lace, Phase scissors, Warehouse sweep, Aperture stack, Orbital discharge, Forked current, Prism relay, Magnetic swarm, Ribbon flight, Meteoric rain, Ceiling array, Triad resonator, Spectral flock, Spine reactor, Caustic membrane, Particle accelerator, Laser braid, Möbius engine, Hopf fibration, Gyroid transit, Klein current, Torus surgery, Dodeca bloom, Hypercube collapse, Tensegrity pulse, Cyclide rift, Helicoid drift, Newton basins, Julia lamination, Riemann fold, Reaction fronts, Quasicrystal breach, Chladni architecture, Loxodrome glass, Catastrophe fold, Fresnel split, Schwarz lantern, Laser delta, Lens scanner, Solenoid storm, Shockwave atlas, Graviton stream, Orbital orrery, Plasma bifurcation, Photon billiards, Relativistic grid, Spectral sail, Vortex crown, Chronotopic rings.
3. Choose a frame: landscape **16:9**, portrait **9:16** or square **1:1**. The iframe width adapts to its container while keeping the selected shape.
4. Choose whether the player first offers the built-in demo or a local MP3/WAV. Both paths wait for a visitor action.
5. Preview, copy the generated code and test it on the page where you will publish.

For example, this is the Rave laser demo in 16:9:

```html
<iframe src="https://phasevoid.com/embed/player/?scene=laser-cathedral&amp;ratio=16%3A9&amp;start=demo" title="PHASE//VOID audio-reactive visualizer" loading="lazy" allow="autoplay" referrerpolicy="no-referrer" style="width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;border:0"></iframe>
```

The builder creates the code for the scene and shape you select. A visible, brand-named link to PHASE//VOID is welcome but **optional**; it is not required for the embed to work.

## Plain HTML

Paste the generated iframe into the part of your page where the visual should appear. Publish the page, then click inside the frame and test demo playback or local file selection. Give the player enough width that its controls remain readable. A very narrow column is a poor fit, especially for portrait output.

## WordPress

Add a **Custom HTML** block in the WordPress block editor, paste the iframe and preview the published page. Your hosting plan, user permissions, plugins or Content Security Policy may strip or block embedded frames. If the frame disappears, check those controls or ask the site's administrator; the snippet cannot override them. Test the published page on both desktop and mobile.

## Live performance

The embed plays one scene inside another website. For a live set, use the [Studio A/B mixer and projector guide](https://phasevoid.com/guides/live-visuals/#mix) to connect supported live audio, blend two moving worlds and test the output on your display. The guide includes a playable first-party export and a ready-to-open mix recipe. The embed itself does not receive host-page or live-input audio automatically.

## Audio, privacy and limits

Each iframe runs a PHASE//VOID scene from phasevoid.com. It cannot read audio already playing in the surrounding website, another tab or the visitor's microphone. The built-in demo produces sound after a click. Alternatively, a visitor may choose a local MP3/WAV **inside the iframe**. That selected file stays in the visitor's browser session; choosing it does not publish it to other visitors or upload it through the tool. The frame loads public site assets from Cloudflare and needs a network connection, JavaScript, WebGL2 and Web Audio.

If a browser blocks playback or lacks graphics support, use the [free Studio](https://phasevoid.com/studio/) directly. Studio also provides supported live input, projector output, recording and more controls. See the [privacy notice](https://phasevoid.com/privacy/) for website requests and fixed aggregate action counts.

## MCP assistant setup

The optional [read-only MCP connection](https://phasevoid.com/connect/mcp/) exposes `get_embed_snippet(sceneId, aspectRatio, start)`. It can return a validated player URL, iframe HTML and setup limits for a selected public scene. The MCP call cannot start audio, read a file, publish a website or access the private PHASE//VOID repository.

Search discovery, indexing and AI citation are separate from publishing this page or embedding the player; neither is guaranteed.
