CONFIGURE / PREVIEW / COPY

Make it fit your space.

Everything below is free and works without an account. The preview and the copied code use the same player.

01

Choose the signal

Set the starting look and shape. Visitors can start the demo or choose audio inside the frame.

The copied iframe keeps this shape as its container changes width.
Audio never starts just because a page loads.

The embed cannot hear audio already playing elsewhere on the host page. Its visitor starts sound or selects a file inside the frame.

02

See it on a page

The player waits for a click before using WebGL or playing sound.

This is the actual iframe, not a mock-up. Open the player in a new tab ↗

03

Copy into your site

Paste the iframe into an HTML area that allows embeds. Its width adapts to the available space.

Choose your settings, then copy the code.

A visible, brand-named link to PHASE//VOID is welcome, but optional. The embed works without an attribution link.

SETUP NOTES

From code to a real page.

Start with a short test on the page where you will publish it. Browsers and site builders handle embedded media differently.

PLAIN HTML

Paste the iframe where the visual should appear.

  1. Choose a scene, shape and starting audio choice above.
  2. Copy the generated iframe and paste it into your page’s HTML.
  3. Publish, then load that page in a browser. Click inside the embed to start the demo or choose a local MP3/WAV.

The snippet uses a fluid width and fixed aspect ratio. Give its parent enough room; a very narrow column makes the controls harder to use.

WORDPRESS

Use a Custom HTML block.

  1. In the block editor, add a Custom HTML block where the visual belongs.
  2. Paste the generated iframe, preview the page, then publish it.
  3. Open the published page and test the audio action, layout and mobile width.

WordPress hosting, permissions, plugins or a site security policy may remove or block iframes. If the frame disappears, check those settings or ask the site administrator; the code alone cannot override them.

LIVE PERFORMANCE

Mix visuals in Studio.

An embed plays one scene inside another website. For a set, open the free Studio to blend two moving worlds, connect supported live audio, and send the output to a projector window.

Watch the real A/B mix and open its ready-to-play recipe ↗. Check your actual input, display and short recording before performing.

HOW THE FRAME WORKS

One visual.
No hidden audio access.

Each iframe runs a PHASE//VOID scene from phasevoid.com. It does not read the host page’s music player, browser tab audio or a visitor’s microphone. The built-in demo produces sound only after a click; a visitor may instead choose a local MP3 or WAV inside the player. Selected media stays in that visitor’s browser session.

A local file chosen by one visitor is not published to other visitors or saved to your website. The embed loads public PHASE//VOID assets from Cloudflare, so it needs a network connection and a browser with WebGL2 and Web Audio. If those features are unavailable, the frame should present a clear route to the free Studio.

The code contains no private repository URL or source distribution. For full live input, recording, projector output and more controls, open Studio. For media handling and aggregate action counts, read the privacy notice.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Before you publish.

Will the visual start playing by itself?

No. The iframe waits for a visitor to interact before demo audio or a local file starts. Browser autoplay rules can vary.

Can I use my own music?

Yes, inside the frame each visitor can choose an MP3 or WAV stored on their own device. That file is not uploaded by this tool. To prepare and record a visual for a track you own, use the MP3/WAV workflow in Studio.

Can the embed react to my site’s audio player?

No. A cross-site iframe does not automatically receive sound from the surrounding page. Use the built-in demo or choose a file inside the player.

Does embedding require a backlink or account?

No account, attribution link or paid plan is required. An ordinary, visible link is optional if you want to credit PHASE//VOID.
