Your music.
Made for another screen.

PHASE//VOID is a free browser music visualizer by Balance IT for audio-reactive live visuals and music videos. Open a local MP3 or WAV, connect a live audio input, and perform with twelve procedural visual worlds.

Compose for a stage, a landscape music video, a vertical frame or a square artwork. Choose a scene, tune its response and keep the controls outside the final picture.

Before the first take.

Can I turn an MP3 or WAV into an audio-reactive video?

Yes. Open a local MP3 or WAV, choose a visual world and an output size, then use Record video. PHASE//VOID records the generated canvas and connected audio in real time. Available WebM and MP4 formats depend on your browser.

Does PHASE//VOID work with live music?

Yes. You can connect a microphone or audio interface through the browser's audio input permission. Tab or system audio also works when the browser and selected source provide an audio track. The app does not monitor live input back to the speakers.

Which video shapes can I create?

Choose 16:9 landscape, 9:16 portrait, 1:1 square, 21:9 ultrawide or 4:3. Custom sizes accept 240 to 4096 pixels per side. Higher output dimensions require more GPU and encoder capacity.

Can I export MP4?

MP4 appears when the browser reports a supported recording configuration. H.264 with AAC is preferred when available; a generic browser MP4 encoder can use other audio codecs. WebM is another available option on supported browsers. The downloaded extension follows the actual output format.

How long can I record?

A segment stops at 30 minutes or 750 MB, or when a non-looping track finishes. Save the segment before recording another. Capture runs in real time with the studio tab visible, and a device or browser may reach its limits sooner.

Are my audio and artwork uploaded?

No. Selected media and generated exports stay on your device within the application workflow. Website and asset requests still reach Cloudflare hosting. Settings and text overlays can be remembered in this browser's local storage.

Can I put the visuals on a projector or second screen?

Yes. Open the projector window from Output, move it to the second display, then double-click its image for fullscreen. The browser must allow the popup. The projector shows the generated visual output, including any title or artwork overlays.

Is Auto scene synchronized to beats or musical phrases?

Auto scene changes worlds on a timer. The visuals respond to measured audio energy and transients, but the app does not calculate a BPM grid or identify musical phrases. Use manual scene switching for a specific musical moment.

Is PHASE//VOID free, and do I need an account?

The current studio is free to use and requires no account. You can save looks in this browser or download a session settings file. Audio and artwork are kept separate from session files.

Shared audio support depends on your browser, operating system and selected source. Microphone input is not sent to your speakers. Visuals contain bright moving patterns; use Gentler motion for a calmer show.
